Since I just started being active on here again, I tought about making a new intro post to pin and reblog!

On this blog I will mainly post about my Wips, do tag and ask games, post about worlbuilding, and reblog writing tips. All asks are welcome, and if you want to be added to the taglist or if you would like to receive asks, let me know! My intro is under the cut!

Who am I

My name is Sam (they/them), I write in English. I love languages and I study French and Arab at uni. I started on writeblr actually quite a bit ago and this is my reintro! (The first one is here)

What genres do I like

I mostly write low fantasy and dystopian, but I also like working on short stories and folk tales. I write a lot of queer characters and disabled characters because I am queer and disabled myself. I write many found families too.

I used to read a lot of everything when I was a kid, now I am in a serious reader's block. I like to read a lot of slice of life and contemporary stories, at times also mystery books, short stories and poetry.

Favorite tropes

Enemies to lovers and fake dating for romance. In general I love found families, impulsive character who gets more logical/logical character who goes apeshit!

Causing and Apocalypse trilogy: about a group of guys who have to save their siblings, and possibly the world. Stage: wrote the first few chapters but needs a bit of rework

Tales of Aontas: (the one I am most active on at the moment): five people get resurrected and given a mission to fulfill, but is that what they really want? It comprehends five books: "The Ship of Undead" and "Blood to the Water" are the first ones, I still miss the other three. Stage: chapter II, worldbuilding complete.

My favorite part of writing

I like worldbuilding and outlining and character planning. I mostly write to get them a story they deserve, I love spending time with my blorboes.

You can call me Starlight or Star (closest variation to my real name). I'm an adult woman. Reader fanfic writer on AO3 since 2016 (can you believe???)

It has started as a normal day.

Medkit got up, got ready, and was making his usual breakfast when he heard a knock at the door.

To his shock, it was Subspace.

Of course, it immediately summoned its gear, and was about to bash his head in with it, when it was interrupted.

"Listen here, you god damn traitor. I didn't come here to kill you, I came here because... I.. I need a place to lay low for awhile."

Medkit could tell Subspace wasn't happy about this, but he didn't trust him, obviously. He knew Subspace wasn't stupid.

"And why would I trust you, of all demons?"

Subspace sighed, taking off his gas mask.

"Look, Meddy–" Subspace started to say, "Don't call me that." Medkit snapped, contemplating hitting him with his gear.

"Whatever. Listen. Illumina is... trying to find Darkheart through us, his followers. And if I'm being honest, I'd rather not deal with that uppity bitch. You managed to stay hidden all this time, and I don't have any other options. Darkheart was the one who... recommended I stay with you."

With a deep, angry breath, he narrowed his eyes, leaning in to stare at Medkit.

"Don't think this means I forgive you, however. Just because I can't hurt you doesn't mean we're buddy buddy again."

Medkit snorted.

"Get inside, rat. Be quick."

As Subspace got inside Medkit's home, he noticed an odd trunk sitting in the corner of the living room, a worn blanket clearly tossed over it in a hurry. Curious, he walked over, and pulled the blanket off.

When he opened it, his face contorted into an expression of shock.

Ghostwalker's sword was laid in the trunk, cushioned by foam and soft fabric.

"It was you?"

He asked, incredulous.

His shocked expression turned into a wide grin. "Meddy! I never thought you had it in you to steal a deity's sword! Off a deity's corpse, no less!"

Medkit turned to him slowly. His expression was serious, and his tone was dangerously quiet.

"You tell anyone I have his sword, and you'll be wishing you were still rotting."

Subspace's smile faded slightly, and he nodded.

"Got it."
